Words!

Of course these days, Gabriel speaks up a storm.   But, I’ll leave this page up for posterity.

Here’s a list of Gaber’s first spoken words, roughly in the order he spoke them:

• dada
• mama
• all done!
• uh-oh!
• hi!
• alright!
• Ms. Ashley at daycare reports “Plane,” but we haven’t heard it at home
• Ms. Ashley at daycare reports “Bird,” but we haven’t heard it at home
• “done,” meaning Auntie D’One
• papa
• hot
• mawww, meaning more (always accompanied by the sign language for more).
• “irahrah,” meaning I love you
• “irahrahdada,” meaning I love you, Daddy.

• “irahrahma,” meaning I love you, mommy.

• Bye (sometimes, b-bye)
• ba-da! (meaning, ta-da!)
• all beda (meaning, all better)
• 11-17-07:   joo-joo == gentle
• 11-19-07:  manama == banana
• 11-19-07: twoo == two (also one and three… he “counts” two, two, TWO)
• And now, just too many to list.  He’s quite the little jabba jaw!
