Words!
Of course these days, Gabriel speaks up a storm. But, I’ll leave this page up for posterity.
Here’s a list of Gaber’s first spoken words, roughly in the order he spoke them:
- dada
- mama
- all done!
- uh-oh!
- hi!
- alright!
- Ms. Ashley at daycare reports “Plane,” but we haven’t heard it at home
- Ms. Ashley at daycare reports “Bird,” but we haven’t heard it at home
- “done,” meaning Auntie D’One
- papa
- hot
- mawww, meaning more (always accompanied by the sign language for more).
- “irahrah,” meaning I love you
- “irahrahdada,” meaning I love you, Daddy.
- “irahrahma,” meaning I love you, mommy.
- Bye (sometimes, b-bye)
- ba-da! (meaning, ta-da!)
- all beda (meaning, all better)
- 11-17-07: joo-joo == gentle
- 11-19-07: manama == banana
- 11-19-07: twoo == two (also one and three… he “counts” two, two, TWO)
- And now, just too many to list. He’s quite the little jabba jaw!
