All clear for take off!

Maybe some of you have already noticed them, but this pictures truly captures Gabe’s wings. We generally love Gabe’s hair, being all curly and cute, but when his wings flare out is when we are truly delighted. We’re sure that his wings will develop as he gets older and be integral in his life as a super-hero!

Following up on Stephanie’s *excellent* graduation week, here’s a pic of our combined turning-two party for Gabriel and his cousin Liam. Gabriel cleans up

Ian and Steph are so blessed: Gabriel just *loves* to clean up his toys. Yesterday, he got frustrated because not all of his toys would fit in the baskets where they go (thanks to all his loving family and their wonderful gifts!) — so he very dutifully looked for an empty cabinet and started putting his toys in there!

Gabriel’s Gogo was kind enough to buy an affordable laptop for a child in a developing country, and got a free laptop for Gabriel as part of the bargain! Ian tinkers with it too (it’s a UNIX laptop!), but Gabriel has a lot of fun using the graphics program, and just tinkering about with it. As an added perk, it’s sturdy enough to stand up to a toddler!

Uncle Jeremy plays a mean Guitar Hero

And with Gabe on the bass, he will form a band the likes of which HAVE NEVER BEEN SEEN!

This just goes to show that although sometimes Uncle Jeremy is inadvertently a meany (see yesterdays post!) — mostly he rocks as an uncle!

Steph sure knows how to make both Ian and Gabriel happy. Half the Easter eggs were Star Wars, and half were Sesame Street.
