He still spends some inter-mingling time with his younger pals, but his cubby has moved to the big classroom and his teachers are now officially Ms. Shanun and Ms. Mary. Gabe will miss Ms. Loretta and Ms. Ashley very much. Especially Ms. Ashley. Every morning he waits for Ms. Ashley to take him and then he promptly blows mommy a kiss good-bye shooing her out the door. But, when Ms. Ashley is busy, Gabe often puts on a nice show for mommy, crying for her to stay and play. Luckily, Ms. Ashley makes breakfast for the Bees and the Tigers, so Gabe still gets to see her in the morning.

Usually kids move to the Tigers at 18 months, but they decided to move Gabe at 17 months because they thought he was ready to be with the older kids. Apparently he’d been getting a little aggressive with some of the younger Bees. So, he and two of his classmates all went to the Tigers, starting today. But, he’ll soon be joined by most of his friends as they hit the 18-month mark in the next few weeks. Mommy left Gabe today in the Tiger room sitting in his kid-size chair at a kid-size table to eat his food without a highchair or booster seat – eating “nicely” with his fork and spoon. He’s getting to be such a big boy! Grrrr….go Tigers!
