The Stay-at-Home Parents’ Version of Juggling.
1. Hang dry cleaning on a tree. This frees up one hand.
2. With free hand, get keys out of pocket and open foyer door.
3. Put down Elmo backpack, use it to prop open foyer door.
4. Put down my bag. This offers no advantage, except that it’s heavy, so putting it down makes you feel better.
5. Go back outside, get dry cleaning.
6. Both hands are full again. Put dry cleaning down in the foyer.
7. Use free hand to open the second door in the foyer. Rush upstairs.
8. Put sleeping 4-year-old into his bed. Circulation returns to left arm.
9. 4-year-old wakes up (!). Calm him down enough that you can run downstairs again.
10. Double check that you have keys. Never get locked out with child inside again.
11. Grab dry cleaning, Elmo backpack, my bag.
12. Back upstairs. Sit on the couch. Relax.

There’s definetely a story there that I missed. “Never get locked out again with child on the inside?!?!?

Clearly I also missed this story of “getting locked out”. Oh my gosh — sounds gut-wrenching.
Of course, what I really can’t get my head around? Is a FOUR year old. How time rushes by!!!!!
Love you all…

The few. The proud. The jugglers. The StayAtHomeParents. Well done, Ian! And yes, I want to hear the story relating to the again too (though so easy to do at 450). My friend had to call the fire department when she locked her self out of her house with kiddo inside.
