New Name for a Blog

I’ve been thinking for a long time now that, at some point, we would outgrow the idea of the “baby blog”.   Gabey would grow up to the point that a blog focused on him written by his parents would be uncomfortable.   Or we’d have more kids.  Or extended family would start to wonder as much about our interior lives as they do about Gabe’s.   Certainly, none of these things has happened.  Not in the least.  But, since I’ve been thinking about it for almost two years now, I decided to go ahead and take the plunge.

Don’t despair, Dear Reader.  This blog will continue to focus on the heroic and comedic exploits of Gabey Babey for some time to come.   I might occasionally bore you with the details of his beleaguered parents, but I promise that those posts will be few and far between.   There will be a very high ratio of frosting of to cake.

I’ve also changed how this blog is powered.   Under the hood, it has a shiny new engine, with a metaphorical V-8 hemi.  But, I won’t bore you with the non-metaphorical details, except to say that hopefully you’ll see improvements in how this blog is organized and managed in the upcoming months.
