“My way or no way”

… Is how the babysitter yesterday described Gabey.  Almost every time we get a babysitter, they gush afterwards about ow smart Gabey is; but this time the babysitter was more impressed with how stubborn he is.   It seems that when she took him to go outside he:

• Knew exactly how to walk to the zoo from home (about a mile), and insisted on telling her  “this way!” at every junction.
• Insisted that she bring the stroller, but then insisted on walking the whole way, despite being extremely tired by the time they got there.
• At the zoo was very opinionated about wanting to see the monkeys and then the lions.

She said that he was a lovely and cheerful boy, just very strong minded.   As another babysitter put it a long time ago, “He knows his mind.”
