Horton Hears a Snore

So, Stephanie and I got all wound up this weekend to take Gabriel to his first cinema showing since he’s been old enough to enjoy it (we took him a couple of times as a weeny tiny infant). We decided to take him to Horton Hears a Who, and we geared up by taking him to a wicked early showing, so that the crowd would be sparse, etc, in case he started to get restless or playful.
Well, as it turned out, he got scared by a T-Rex in the trailer for the upcoming (animated) Ice Age sequel. He buried himself in Mommy’s shoulder and then just stayed there for the whole movie! He slept through it all!
Mommy and Daddy has a good time, though. It’s actually a really good movie.

I absolutely loved Horton hears a snore! Too funny!!! So glad to hear about daddy’s enjoyment of the big boy bed and understandably, the world would be a lot less complex if we all thought like Gabe and just had pizza for everything!
