Four long but fun days

Last weekend, Steph had another weekend class, and then Gabe and I both fell sick early this week.    Gabe couldn’t go to daycare, so I’ve had the pleasure of spending the last four days pretty much alone with the little boy.    He’s been lethargic, and not his usual playful self, but we did get plenty of snuggling time together, including a lot of time spent taking naps together, which is my favorite part of being a Dad.

Today he’s home (sick again) with Steph, but she says that he’s feeling much better.    It’s a little weird to be rooting for an illness, and it will definitely be nice to be able to get some work done (especially for my boss!), but I will miss the time we’ve spent together during our communal illness.
