Where did he learn that?

As Gabe’s brain becomes more and more spongy, it’s fun to watch him do things he learned when Mommy and Daddy were away.    His sponginess allows him to learn things at one go a lot of the times, so he’s learning more things more quickly during the day at daycare, or while being babysat by grandparents, aunts/uncles or friends here in DC.

Over Christmas, Gabe got a great little talking Elmo chair, which plays Simon Says with you when you push a button on the arm.    I have no idea where/when he learned it, but he surprised Mommy and Daddy this week by sitting in his chair and playing all by himself.   He knows all of the instructions that Elmo gave him, most of which we didn’t teach him: We did teach him “touch your nose”, but not “Wiggle your fingers” or “Spin”.  I’m thinking this is Grandma or Grandpa Wagner’s doing, but who did it, it’s a joy for Mom and Dad to watch and know that the little guy is learning so much.
