Happy Halloween!
This week Gabe celebrated his second Halloween, although in many ways it felt more like the first. Gabe went as Batman and was very cute! He got to wear his costume all day at daycare along with his classmates. They were super-cute. There was a lion, a lady bug, a waiter, a frog and a dragon to name just a few. So adorable! They had a “costume parade” at daycare. Then grandpa Wagner joined us for Halloween night. We carved our jack-o-lanterns the weekend before – we made an alien and pumpkin head aka the headless horseman. Gabe stuck his hand in to pull out the pumpkin innards only once and immediately passed on that task. He was amazed as mommy pulled the gook out though.
On Halloween night, daddy dressed up like a pirate (Gabe almost didn’t recognize him), and we went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. There weren’t too many trick-or-treaters, so everyone was very happy to see Little Batman. Gabe didn’t really understand what was going on, but he enjoyed pushing the doorbell buttons and picking candy out of the bowls. He pulled in quite a haul – too bad he’s too little to eat that much candy. Needless to say, mom and dad are enjoying their fair share!
Anyway, we’ll post some pictures as soon as we can. In the mean time, check out how cute Gabe was last Halloween as Dracula. Hope your Halloween was hauntingly fabulous!
